COLD-MOULDED AND STRIP-PLANKED WOOD BOATBUILDING
by Ian Nicolson

THIS BOOK IS CURRENTLY OUT OF PRINT

Cold-moulded wood boatbuilding predates fibreglass. It involves bonding together layers of wood veneers or thin planks to make a strong light hull. Strip-planking is similar but uses narrow strips of wood. Both forms of building can be combined. This is an excellent book full of illustrations and photos to explain the various stages of construction. Definitely one of the best books on these methods of boatbuilding
