CRUISING THE CORAL COAST
by Alan Lucas

First published in 1968, this book has reached its eight edition and remains the only guide to cover the whole of the east coast of Queensland, the Torres Strait and the Great Barrier Reef. The current edition, updated to 2003, includes notes on the Gulf of Carpentaria and the Coral Sea. This edition is the biggest yet with larger, more detailed charts and more ports and anchorages than in previous editions. It's as close to a must have guide as your ever likely to find if your plans include cruising along the Queensland Coast..

REVIEWS

When I first sailed into Queensland waters 10 years ago I bought a copy of this book. It still gets pulled out nearly every trip and is still as handy as the day I first bought it. Phil

Cruised down from Cairns, on approaching Southport on a moonless night with a stink blowing, the GPS failed. Took the chart on deck to find the approach to Southport seaway, and then the chart blew overboard. The only resource remaining was Cruising the Coral Coast. Safe arrival thanks to CCC.
