On the left we have an inexpensive and easy way of visually checking a
proposed fit out of a chart table and seat. Cardboard has been cut and stapled together to
completely mock up this area. This helps one to visualise the area and make small
adjustments before committing ones self to the final product. In many cases the cardboard
can also be used as a template. As an extra bonus you have the satisfaction of knowing
that you have used a resource through to its end.
Placing
a chart under the persplex top. This enables rhumb lines and route plans to be drawn on
the persplex without damaging the chart
In folded down position. This allows for more room in the salon when in
harbour but also allows for instant access whenever desired.
Home made sliding doors. 20mm x
20mm peices of wood held together by sail tap glued to the back at either end has made
these attractive and practical rolling doors. Useful where a conventionly hinged opening
door would be in the way.
