A US boat builder ( Mirage MFG ) is advertising a " form stable hull" that is designed to perform in a seaway w/o the use of active stabilizers. They claim that a round bilge is a design left from the " Age of Sail ". Bruce has put together an impressive series of designs that seem to favor the round bilge. How does the hull perform? Is there any merit in the ad's boast? See Passagemaker Magazine, JAn/Feb 2006 page 28. Thank You, D.C. Lucky
