I own a 43 Norfolk & have investigated the possibility of carrying out the rudder modifications as supplied by the design office. I have currently ruled out this modification due to the amount of internal surgery required. My next line of thought is to live with the steering but fit a wind vane steering so moving the leverage piont as far aft as possible. The Windpilot Pacific plus looks the business on paper. Does anybody have experience of this type or similar and how they perform on the 43 long keeled hull.
