Does anybody have any thoughts on using fibreglass foam core construction over a steel frame. For purposes of discussion I'm looking at something like the Roberts Trader 65. For this project I'd make up the centre beam, frames and stringers in steel and "prime" them with glass/resin before continuing with 19mm PVC foam sheets instead of the sheet steel.
