There is plenty of information regarding stablity of Spray types. But perhaps the best way is to contact the Spray society, they are on the web. Remember though they are not like other sailboats in as much as the they don't heal much and then seldom more than 10deg. In my opinion the hull was originaly desined for a Gaff rig (being low aspect)which would certinaly help it's stability, although most these days carry all sorts.
