Have just purchased a Mauritus Ketch in fiberglass. I have little history on the boat other than that she was built in Ohio in 1989 and named "Rejoice". She is well equipt, roller furling masts, Profurl and Harken hardware etc. Have not sailed her yet, currently on the hard in Calif. doing blisters. I have lots of questions but the rudder size/design issue seems most important at this point. The boat responded very well to the helm when under power. Can I visually determine if the rudder is adequate? Size? Shape? Has anyone come across other forums or sources of Roberts Mauritus info. Thanks, JJ
