I have used spray on insulation foam that is used to line cool stoores, I sandblasted and epoxy coated the hull inside first. The foam actually acts as an adheasive also and takes some removing. I have also welded to the outside of the hull and it didn't catch on fire, I have found it will only burn while you have a naked flame on it, once the flame is removed it stops burning. I have more info if you wish to contact me via email but as a closing comment I would strongly recomend this system.
