In the water. The ballast and interior are still to be added hence the high topside's.
Still just the basic paint job. There has been no fill on the hull.


Note how high she is floating out of the water without the ballast.

The following is a breakdown of the estimated time needed to build this hull.

Arrival of Kit and sorting parts.............................................................. 3 days
Preparing edges ................................................................................... 1 week
Assembly of cradle's and welding web frames........................................ 1 week
Assembly of Hull & Deck, tack welding completely............................... 6 weeks
Finish welding Hull & Deck................................................................... 4 weeks
Grinding visible welds............................................................................ 1 week

The above times are for an amateur working with a mate.
Total time will be around 1500 to 2000 man hours for the steel construction work.
The time is more or less reflected on the equipment and expertise available.
