The Roberts 341 plans only come for building in fiberglass which may be the reason we don't see more of these great little yachts sailing around. With a version (shown in the photo above) designed with a wheelhouse from the start and not just tacked on later this is a perfect design for colder climates. A wonderful sea boat and suitable to take nearly anywhere. I'd draw the line at ice only because it is built in fiberglass. This is one design that is worthy of serious consideration when planning serious cruising on a small budget.
